Hamburg Summer DOM 2024

The DOM is just as much a part of Hamburg as the harbour, the Elbphilharmonie, the Hamburger Michel and the musicals. The folk festival DOM has a long tradition. And it has been since the 11th century. At that time, the locations of the jugglers and showmen were constantly changing. They were driven out, and partly they were distributed in the whole city. In 1893 the market people were given a new place, the Heiligengeistfeld. And the Hamburg DOM can still be found there today. Meanwhile, the largest folk festival in the north takes place three times a year in spring, summer and winter for four weeks each. A guarantee for fun, thrills and nostalgia.
